If you pull that button towards you/rear of the car that will automatically open the pano roof.

Apparently if it rains and I think if you turn air con on it will close windows and roof but I'm yet to see that in action.

My wife left her door ajar. It's only after you pull away that the car will warn you with a picture of a red door that is open. I thought this was odd. With all the safety features these cars have it would let you pull away first before warning you.

....and the doors don't close tightly on the first go. I've "left the doors" open about 5 times since I've owned the car for a month. Why don't these doors close tightly?

I've had no issues with the doors closing and as for the warning, I'd rather it warn me when I'm setting off than every time I open a door.

I just got our car last night. We left the door ajar and only thing it would say is the car wasn't in park. Backed out of the driveway and pulled up the street before it said the door was open. Deff weird.

I was in a difficult situation once. Pulled the car out from where it was parked and the car suddenly started showing the door ajar warning after it ran some distance. By then I was in a busy street where I could not open the door and close again. So left it like that till the next traffic light. After that, I made it a practice to see if I have closed the door properly before I start driving. It has become a habit now and doesn't seem to bother me anymore. But yes, I feel the warning should start as early as engaging gears before a drive.

At the very least, they should have designed it so that the door ajar light indicating which door is open should come on before you drive off.

My wife and I noticed that as well. I think it might be because the doors are so light that they don't close well unless given a good little push.

Exactly! Let me auto apply the parking brake so you don’t roll away. But I’ll let you drive away with your doors open. What was MB thinking?

Ok back to the cool stuff. Press and hold the temperature button either way and it jumps in 2 degree increments. Makes it faster if you are trying to quickly cool or warm your car.

When you pull the lever to lower the left rear seat, the driver's seat automatically goes forward.

Pushing in the scroll volume button also mutes the sound.

Same on the passenger seat.

Did you also know that if you move the seat fully forwards to clean under it, the seat lowers and the head rest retracts so it doesn't hit the roof/visor.

...and holding down the volume button for a second or two turns on the radio TA (traffic announcements) function.

My car yelled at me! Lol

I got my windows tinted and went through a drive thru. I opened the door while the car was creeping forward at the drive thru because I could not roll down my windows. My car honked at me, slammed on the brakes and put itself in park. Scared the bejeezus out of me lol

hahahaha

I'm so in love with this car. The only car I have driven that was as much fun was the Tesla Model S.

Note to self: When you decide to pull into your local convenience store for a Gatorade. Leave the key in the car with your wife. Otherwise be prepared to get a call saying: please come back! Your car is beeping very loudly with a “key not detected” warning.

Or alternatively just hit the engine start/stop button to turn the car off?

Not something you want to do during some of the months in places like Arizona, Florida, etc.

That actually brings up a good question. If you leave the car running and step away with the key in your pocket. Why does the car stay running? Will it actually go into "D" if the key is out of range?

I believe there is a setting to turn that off.
