I had it on my 2013 f30 and it never worked right. It didn't block any smells or fumes. So far the ionizing of the 204 is doing a better job.

During mist rain turning on your wipers will automatically turn on your headlights. (If set to auto)

While in Navigation, click on the screen icon on the touchpad. It will bring up a window in the lower portion of the screen, without exiting nav, that shows radio station/track information and allows you change stations or advance tracks without exiting Nav. If you don't make changes after a few seconds, the popup window retracts. I have Command 20 with Garmin, BTW.

Yes i do that . And if you swipe down or push down the "knob" once on that window a second window comes out that lets you change media sources or from iPod to radio.

Discovered this a few days ago:
When AC is on auto (with fan blowing high and loud), if you enter a voice command the fan will slow down to reduce the noise while listening to your voice and resume back to full speed when done.

anyone get a better deal than $450 for the Nav SD Card? I read about a $300 +/- deal on ebay.co.uk but haven't seen it, and my dealer is giving me a $150 parts credit for buying the car, bringing the $600 part to $450.....

If you unlock the car via key fob, you have 30 seconds to open the door before it locks itself again. I learned this when I opened the car with the spare key in the kitchen and ran to the garage. Didn't make it!

Yes! I've done the 'panic run' a couple of times.

If you click your heels three times and say "There's no place like home," the car will drive you to Kansas.

Stan, just received this email respond from MBUSA:

Dear Mr. Mike,

The 'three heel clicks to home' option only works if your name is Dorothy and born in Kansas. The other closest option is 'HomeLink' that works with one click on your reverse mirror to bring you home.

Love,

Thanks for checking on this feature, Mike. Should I worry about the pointy red shoes sticking out from under the car?

Not sure if anyone knew, but tonight I went to put a new rolled up rug into my boot (trunk) and when I pulled the seat fold down lever in the boot I noticed the front seats moving forward automatically.. Pretty cool.

Anyone know what would happen if someone attempts to put the car in gear while the "Key not detected" warning is on? Reason being, I have a bad habit of leaving the car running while I run into the store to grab a drink with the key in my pocket. Some people say the car will not go into gear, while others say the car will shut off when trying to shift to D?

I've often left mine tilted up at the back (not fully open) and rain has never closed it.

AHH! That's why my seat was in the wrong place when I got in the car this weekend. I was wondering about that.

My VWs have done that for years, and it always drove me nuts when I forgot about it.

I noticed that a while back and thought it was so cool I ran and got my wife. She looked at me like

It was like that old VW commercial where he was so jazzed about being able to put the windows up remotely and his wife just walks off.

Did you know when you stop (like in a parking spot) then hard push on the brake to put the brake hold feature on then turn off the car (while in gear) it will automatically put the parking brake on and put the car in neutral. Then open your car door and it will put it in Park.
