a) Driver - "I'll show this f****ing car who's boss - take that, you bas***d!", or
B) Car - "Let go of my f***ing downshifter, you b***ard! Don't you realise that if you do that I'm going to throw up gearbox oil and cogs all over the road... That'll teach you!"

HAHA.. first time I noticed that I though the car was broken because I inadvertently left my key in a work bag which I put in the trunk. I was standing at the back of the car like an idiot cursing ".. well that's just great - now the darn lid won't close!"

You probably have a poorly aligned tank door like I had. I used to have the same problem before it was replaced due to poor alignment. Now it closes perfectly every time.

I think this may be my issue. My doors are unlocked but I keep closing it, but it pops right open. Now I just fill up my tank all the way every time .

I also couldn't open it once. The gas station attendant told me to unlock the car. I felt stoopid.

It made me like him even more! It reminds me of when I got my first ever iPhone. The 3G. I was styling then, for sure. Only all of the sudden, I couldn't hear my phone ring, nor get any alert sounds. I walked right on into the AT&T store and claimed there was something wrong with my phone. The guy looked at my phone, clicked the mute switch back up and handed me my phone and said, "sir, next time, check the mute button!" I felt stoopid as well........

So I own a 2015 c300 , It had a few thousand miles on it. I wanted to know if there is a way to reset the car so it can used to my driving behavior and not the previous owner.

I hurt my back today so I figured I would use the heated seats to help relieve some pain. I learned that if you have it on level three, its highest setting. After a few minutes it automatically switches down to level two. A few more minutes level one. Then eventually shuts down.

Throttle reset?
Door closed!
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.
All this does is the align the throttle body throttle plate with the pedal. So full pedal movement = WOT. Sometimes loses calibration.
Unlike other commenters, Ruck does NOT claim that this procedure resets the ECU. Nonetheless, this may help. In the long run, I would expect the ECU will learn your driving technique. I don't know what period it averages.1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.

My guess is that you are not concerned that the previous owner was a boy racer, whose pattern of use has made your car too responsive for you! If the previous owner was more conservative than you are, he or she probably never used the Sport or Sport+ modes. They would remain at their factory default settings.

Be careful
I wouldn't do that without expert advice. I believe that, for openers, you will lose all your settings, radio and so on. I know that's the whole point of this procedure, but those tuners may have some way of continuing to power the systems whose settings you want to keep.

It is also the whole point to cut power completely to clear driver learning memory.
On another note when the dealers do this (resetting) they follow a protocol to teach the car the mb standard defaults. The idea is that a new car does not default to a more aggressive driving style directly off the showroom. This can be found on startekinfo and involves specific rituals as well as particular ways of driving a few miles. I was familiar with this with my w204, but not with w205 as I have only had 3 weeks with it.
