Buying a W205 - now or wait for a 2016?
First time poster (great forum!) with a question... I love the new C300 4MATIC and am going to buy one; it's just a matter of timing now. I'm not in a rush, other than wanting my toy now.
My one hesitation - I've read a bunch of threads with really helpful info on problems people have had with the 2015's coming from Alabama. From what I've gathered from other threads:
-MB-Tex seats were bleeding in a lot of cars, but those built after 1/5/15 don't have the issue anymore
-A bunch of electronics/software glitches - sounds like lots of them have software patches now?
-A couple recalls so far
I'm assuming the 2016 will be virtually the same car. So basically, I guess my question is whether anyone has insights as to whether MB has been able to resolve many of these issues on the fly in the "later" 2015's, or whether I should wait for a 2016 since it's already June, and hope a lot of fixes go into next year's model?
I'm itchy to get it soon, but I could suck it up and wait a few months if it would get me a more reliable car.
Thanks for any insights.

They seemed to have tightened up the QC a bit with the later production 2015 models but since it's not that far off, I'd say just hang tight until the 2016s hit the lot or get an order in to be one of the first with a 2016.

It really depends when you really want to get the car. You could find big discounts on the 2015 model during the next few months.

2015 C220 AMG Line Bluetech.
For the sake of a few months, it would be worth waiting for the 2016 model release. The changes are likely to be small, but they will probably include mods from the learning over the last year, or so.

I'm waiting to see what changes if any are for the MY16 ?! If nothing significant I'll go for a 15' with hopefully a really nice discount but if they're offering a decent amount off MSRP for a 16' I'd prefer to get that. I
It's only a couple more months till those will be in the showrooms

Yeah, I was about to order the 15' model as well until I did my research and found out about the numerous issues owners were having.
I'm going to wait for the 16 or even possibly the 17 model. It will give more time to pay of my student loans and save up more for other add-ons I otherwise would have just overlooked
