Driver side window won't roll up

Normal warm Summer afternoon here in Charlotte and I decided to drive with the windows down. When I came to a stop and parked this time, the driver side window decided it wouldn't roll up. I've tried a number of things--including using the remote and the keyhole on the door, and nothing. When I use the switch it will make two clicks but won't roll the window up. Luckily I have a garage to park in overnight but I hate leaving the car parked with the window down. I am *beyond* frustrated.

Did you check all the fuses? Fuse numbers are:
302, 303 (in footwell fuse box)
406, 408 (in boot)

(see attached extract from fuse map in case you don't have yours handy..)

That's why cars have warranty's. Use it. No one makes a perfect car.

Sounds like the motor may have died out. Should be an easy warranty fix at the dealer.

That's what I'm thinking. Boooooo. Wish it had waited until the work week 😄 Had to go home and park in the garage. Has definitely put a damper on weekend plans.

Magically the window is working this morning, just fine. So bizarre. Still going to drop it by the dealer this week.

That's weird...like you said it's still worth having them check it out but if it's anything like my dealership experience, no error code and they can't reproduce it means they won't touch it.

Leaving the office today the car decided to replicate the problem 😄 Luckily the service department didn't close until 7pm so I was able to drop it off inoperative and pick up a loaner. We'll see what they come back with...I get it, it's a first year for this new platform, but this is kind of frustrating being it renders the car inoperative with the massive storms we get every evening here in the South.

These things shouldn't happen and I wouldn't give MB any slack for this problem. Power windows are not new, the motor design or fuse or electronics or programming cannot be that radically different any other mercedes.

Glad you could get it over there while the issue occurred and they could observe it. Hopefully they'll get it straightened out for you without any issues. :y
