He could not confirm 100% that LED lights are standard without putting an actual order in.

I've asked him to send me the newest build guide so I can make a decision.

$50,800 is a very attractive MSRP especially if discounts will still be available.

I might be willing to live "car-less" for a couple of months to put an order in on one that I would receive in Oct/Nov considering that now it looks like a very handsomely equipped one wouldn't run much over $55,000 (base model + the premium 2 pkg plus the burmeister radio).

Also...be advised that my dealer when talking c63 or c450 he's telling me the 19" black rims are not available, and that Mercedes is saying it's a company wide shortage...anyone else hear that?

LED lights appear to be standard. Lighting package with Intelligent High Beam Control and Active LED Headlamps are $800 option.

i saw 2,100 (called Premium 2 Package) on the sheet when I'd built it out...

Not so happy that my dealer doesn't have the price and is trying to tell me it's "55 or 56k base"....

The salesman showed me the official mb press release listing MSRP $50,800 with $925 dedtination. I don't remember what Burmeister cost because I wasn't interested.

$50,800 plus acquisition seems to be confirmed. My local dealer also strongly implied they were expecting mid 50's starting price.

$2100 for premium does not make sense since the C450 includes LEDs.

Yeah the Burmeister was the stand alone feature of the 'premium 2' on their build sheet and it's $2,100 - I was hoping when options got the firm pricing that it would go down, but, looks like the only thing paid and agreed is that i have a deposit

They wanted MSRP, but that was before pricing was released and I was on the fence between c63 and c450,

Might pay msrp if it includes ext warranty and Maint plans :-)

Wow, at that price, my first thought is why did they bother with the very limited run of the C400. They had to have been planning this, even if they were surprised at the lack of take on the C400. So few made, and for the price difference, seems an odd step to me.

We are paying dealer cost. Sales manager made this commitment to us to return to their dealership after leaving the brand for a few years after owning a problem plagued E55 for 4 years. Nothing in writing, but from having bought many cars from this dealership before, I know he will honor that commitment.

I've got some leverage, as I will also be buying my wife an SUV in the next 6-8 months so I will give the dealer the chance to earn both sales

Being a salesman myself I understand commission but they don't have to earn it at one time :-)

On 6/25 I ordered my C450. No price was shown for leather so I am guessing the premium2 (P02) includes leather (241); as well as, the Burmeister Surround Sound. I was also unable to order the 19" wheels/rims . I am hoping to swap the 661 rim for once the 604 once the car is built. For cost no pricing was available so they added $99,999. It would be AWESOME if the car came in at $50,800. I am expecting ~$53,000 USD

Wow, the C300 I just ordered came in at ~$55,000. Even if my 450 configured to around the same price, the leasing rates will be much higher for the 450 I'm guessing?

Not sure how you draw that conclusion. While each model might have slightly different residual it is usually very very close, say 66% for C300 vs 65% for C450 (of course it is also possible 450 gets the higher residual or that it is the same) on a 3/36K lease.

Money factor or "interest rate" will be the same. Not sure what you mean by "leasing rate" but the lease payment is based on residual (depreciation) and money factor (interest rate).. That's it.

The more loaded your C300 then the less the price spread to the C450 since it comes with some of the package items at base level.

Of course there are other costs that make the C450 more expensive to lease than the C300. Insurance premiums are likely higher, the car gets worse fuel economy and the tires are likely more expensive to replace at lease end.

They've most certainly moved up on the price scale ....... it'll be so difficult to hold back and not check off a lot of options when it comes time for me to order UUGGHHH !!
