What is the "1/2" displayed under the Gas pump symbol?

What is the "1/2" displayed under the Gas pump symbol?
I just filled up with gas and noticed under the gas pump symbol on the dash is a bold "1/2". Pretty sure it wasn't there before and doesn't go away with an engine restart.


Any ideas?

Since it is in the middle of the gauge it should be indicating half full of the gas tank.

It's above the gauge and the below the gas pump symbol and the gauge is showing full as it should. I have never seen a fraction or anything else in that location before.

EQE 500 4MATIC replacing EQC 4matic AMG line P
It is shown in the manual so suspect you have simply not noticed it, it simply confirms the halfway point on the guage.

If you look at this photo you'll see that the 1/2 is the same as every W205.



Not sure why you'd not spotted it before.

Its at the dealer now. The whole display died and the car was undrivable.
