Shell V-Power vs. Total Excellium Diesel

I tried to post this in "Diesel-Forum" - with no feedback I thought I could try again here.

I've been using Total Excellium Diesel from day 1. Having recently crossed 4,000 km with my W205 (220 BlueTec), I wanted to ask if Shell V-Power is (or proven to be) superior to Total Excellium Diesel.

I don't drive much (circa 700 km/month, mostly city traffic, I tend to stick to one station - close to where I live).

I could already state that Excellium is a good choice (car pulls hard if needed,...), but then, it's still brand new, and so my question.

Trying another premium diesel alternative (i.e. Shell V-Power) requires lengthy testing (approx. 4 fill-ups = 4 months) until I could see a notable difference.

While fuel in Belgium is "supposed" to be of "good quality", I understand that premium diesel (e.g. Total Excellium or Shell V-Power) will not be the same (or even close) as the one used in racing, such as Audi R18 TDI. My concern here is choosing what would work best for the car on the long term (budget is not the issue here).

Thank you all for your input, this is the first time I try diesel cars. So far "okay" considering that my fill-up schedule is almost once/month, which is quite convenient.
