What is the quickest way to change into sports mode?

Hi, I was wondering if there is a quick way of changing into sports mode rather than toggling using the dial.

No. If you want a quicker downshift use the paddles.

You could always store the individual "driving program" (Little button with star symbol). So it would be just one press to change to your favorite setting.

This confuses me. A quicker way other than a single press of a button?

You are using the "agility select" button, right?

In fact individual settings takes 3 toggles of the agility select button while sport takes only one
Individual settings is if you wish to mix and match settings for example, my individual setting is comfort transmission and sport+ suspension, or, you want complete manual shifting (still upshifts at red line and downshifts to 1'st if you stop).

Sorry I should have been clearer- i always drive in Eco mode so when I want to a quick burst of speed I have to toggle through from Eco-comfort-sports-sports+ using the agility selector. Is there a quicker way? Can I set a single button for it?

Set up your individual setting to exactly the same as Eco, and drive in it. Then when you want your burst of speed, it is only one click down to Sport+

NO.....
Simply use the paddles to downshift right away. Even in eco mode, if you floor the accelerator the transmission will downshift immediately to the lowest possible gear. Eco simply varies the sensitivity of the accelerator, however, flooring it overrides the setting. Neither flooring it nor using the paddles will change steering effort, nor suspension setting. Also if you use the paddles manual shifting will revert to auto after a short while.
The only way to get to a different driving mode is the agility selector, if you drive in ECO it will always take 2 flicks of the selector to get to sport.
BTW ECO mode does work well, you can easily get an additional 2-3mg avg using Eco mode. If you need quicker acceleration here or there down shift with the paddles (its very quick) or simply floor it.

I completely understand what you mean, as a matter of fact I started designing a button switch to mount on the steering wheel, it has to be really nice, the electronic diagrams are available on mercedes EWA - a virtual computer with mercedes part numbers etc.

I was thinking;

1- re-purpose a steering wheel button (many use the mute for video in motion, so I can use the mute as well)

or

2 - dedicated buttons;

Sport
Sport+
Individual

This would be a bit more complicated - I will probably start playing the C300, but more likely will have it done by the time I get the C450AMG or C63s coupe.

This sounds like the best solution. One click. Done.
