Scuffs to my W205

Hey guys

I need some advice recently discovered these scuffs on my new purchased C300 CPO. Not sure how these happened or if dealer put a band aid on these when I bought it and now they appeared(bought about 2 weeks ago). But anyway have researched and not sure how to approach. Plan on washing the car as it is very dirty before I attempt since I had a 200 mile trip picking the car up so lot of highway dirt/debris(no mudflaps). At first thought I would clay bar it off, but then read thats not the way go and use Meg's Scratch X instead or possibly 3Ms kit. Read to use alcohol to remove, but then read that alcohol is bad for the car. Not sure if it is considered transfer or if it has gone through the clear/paint. However these aren't really scratches more like scuffs, they are rough to the touch? Please excuse the dirty car. Please help a newb out!

Clay bar will get them out.

get mothers clay bar, and some griots detailer to get it out. Had the same issue, and clayed it out.

I would try Clay first. If not, you can try a little WD40 on a soft towel, then wash the WD40 off with soap and water.

no worries, just do it nice and slow to avoid any scratches to the clear coat.

I use use lots of detailing spray and wipe down with a nice quality microfiber. If it does come out right away try going in a different direction with the clay bar. Let me know how it goes.

Tried clay and didn't work used Mother's quick detailer with their clay however. Made it look bit better but it still there unfortunately. Not sure if technique would made difference watched a few YouTube's though. Maybe it's through the clear and paint? Last silver W204 hid a bit better thrn the white. Don't think scratch x will remove since these are like scuffs and not nor scratches.

Shop would probably be able to take em out but not sure if it's worth the costs. Just annoys me it's there.

try going a bit harder with the clay but spray it down for lubrication with your detailer spray so the clay won't damage the paint. If that doesn't work best shot would be go to a paint less dent repair shop and get the guy to buff it out with a quick buff. Just find one with good reviews around your area. They know if it went into the paint or not and would charge you 30$ usually. I had them take out a dent and scratch before.
