C300 AMG Exhaust System
Does anyone have any information about this AMG Exhaust System which is supposedly made / going to be made specifically for the C300?
I can't seem to find any information on it.

I know that when I tested the C300 Coupé, it had an extra sportexhaust system configured. (Very cheap)
This could be it, I think it seems louder than I experienced in my testdrive.
On the other hand I didn't really push it then.

Maybe it's a thing with different markets?
The C300 sedan in my country has no exhaust system configurable, while the C300 Coupé has an "AMG Sport exhaust" selectable.
At least in the web configuration tool.

Have the same "AMG Sport exhaust" option as a part of "AMG Sport Package" (AMG Exterior I suppose). There was the same legend for w204 that cars with "AMG Package" had an AMG exhaust muffer.
BUT! C Coupe has no "AMG Styling package" as it has the same Exterior styling by default, but has this "AMG Performance" exhaust mod.

my c300 with sport package sounds...........like any other 4 cyl car. which is.......WEAK.
i was surprised at how cheap and weak the exhaust sounds until about 3500 rpm. after that when the turbo kicks in it sounds a little better.
i tihnk this is pretty normal for a 4 cyl car, it will never sound as smooth as a v6 or growling like a v8.
both my older nissan maxima and infiniti g35 sounded 100000000000x better than my benz. My 2000 mustang cobra svt was on a another level, it sounded like a MAN'S car.
but then again, i hardly hear anything when cruising and windows up.

I completely agree with you. I have the C300 Sport, and the standard exhaust is boring. We don't get the AMG sport exhaust as an option in the U.S. This is the only thing I am unhappy with on the entire car. I have asked a few dealers if they would be able to special order the AMG sport exhaust for me, but I haven't gotten any responses yet.

Found some more info. Looks loike it's real electronic valve activated automatically at Sport+ mode. Olnly for C-coupe C300, C63, C43.
see here
sounds better
believe it's plug and play for Sedans too. Just to find out where this valve connected to CAM and coding
