Hope all the bugs have been sorted out by now.
My E350 BlueTec easily gets 40 MPG and the E250BlueTec gets 50+MPG on the highway so the C300 Bluetec should get well over 50 or even 60MPG!

I don't think I'm unusual. I know lot's of people with well built C Class cars built in Alabama. Globalization has changed the face of automobile manufacturing. Honda's, Toyota's, Nissan and Lexus, just to name a few, build cars in the US. Many C class cars sold in Europe, are made in South Africa. To the guy who is excited the Estate won't be built in the US, may find it could be built in Africa.

2013 C300 Sport 4Matic, 2000 Mustang GT Vert. Supercharged
I went to Montreal Auto Show earlier this week. There was a wagon C300 White. IMO the best colour for the wagon is bright colour such as Blue and Red.
Forgot to look the country of build

On this side of the pond, Diesel is not very popular thus we've got very limited.
And with the recent VW Diesel scandal it's made it even worse.
But I've switched over to Diesel vehicles since 2009 and have never looked back.
Once you've experienced the tremendous torque and great fuel economy + fantastic driving range you'll never go back.

The only downside is the tractor sound and the bad stigma from their early Delphi injector dramas, but it has tremendous stump pulling power at low revs, plus a range of over 600 miles (1000Km) a tank.
I'm totally hooked on this motor. I'm about to get a RaceChip for mine as I'm keen to see what the engine can deliver - will report back after I've verified figures on the Dyno.

Placed my order for a Brilliant Blue estate back in January for a March/April Delivery. However, due to the whole VW dieselgate scandal, Transport Canada is changing their emission testing procedures. So, every month the diesel gets more delayed whenever I ask the status, since MB doesn't know the standards yet because TC hasn't finalized things on their end. Now looking at end of September, early October, but it will be a 2017MY. No word on a discount or any compensation due to the delay.
Frustrated, to say the least.
