whats the best AMG wheel design
hey guys

im planing to buy new wheels foe my car after what happend to the old ones in the previous thread as i mentioned

i have the w204 c250 AMG model 2015 color metallic brown night pack

i would like you to post some pictures or ideas for the new design i should go for and size

im thinking of these 19

Those are the 19s I put on my build, I like them but don't love them. They were the best of the options for C450s.

If I could pick any wheels, I'd go with the black forged AMGs

but my car color is darck and going with complete black will ruin the look

Those are what I have on my 2016 which also has the night package. I love them.

I have those, love the look, but what a twot to keep clean.. The gloss black shows dust just a badly as silver... The multi spokes make cleaning time consuming... Also they scratch easily on the gloss black... Wash carefully...

I removed mine, iron X, clay, washed and then waxed with collinite to minimise dust.. Tried armour all wheel protectant and it's ok but it's not glossy.. I prefer the waxed finish...

I went with the titanium multispokes.

That gloss black look like it would be hard to keep clean. They probably look amazing clean, but pretty bad when dirty.

I really like the split spokes, but they just look kinda small for a 19 inch wheel on the car.

Smooth ride..


Well its less side wall in any comparable tyre (ie same spec tyre) in 18", so you will always loose some spring and damping there..


Is is unbearable and crashy???, in my experience on Australian road.. (a real mix of smooth tar and chip seal.. with the Continental Sport Contact 5 MOE runflats )... No..
It is firm, and step edges are abrupt, but it doesn't feel crashy..


Pot holes and speed bumps i take particular care over, but i would with 17's on..


If you ran NON runlfats you'd have the smoothest ride possible on that rim size..


I am glad mine has the AMG 19's on, anything less IMO looks too small, and i am not a fan of the classic 5 spoke Merc rims.. they look a little 1990's IMO..


But i say again, they take twice as long to keep clean.. which is OK IF you like cleaning your car
