Why paint? Why not just get it wrapped with gloss black or matte black vinyl like everyone else?

For some reason, plasti dip doesn't typically work well on/around the window trim. I have had more customers attempt to plasti dip their window trim and end up having to remove it and have me wrap it instead cause it didn't hold up.

I know a lot of painters don't typically also like painting chrome parts/pieces, just because paint does not usually adhere well to chrome surfaces and can start flaking or chipping off more easily than usual.

I'd wrap it. I plan to wrap my C43 spoiler in carbon fiber or gloss black.

Prepping the parts is 80% of the job for painting, dipping to wrapping. If you don't properly clean the piece before you customize it, it will no last long at all. No wax, no fingerprints etc. before you do this. Same as if you were tinting a window. You clean clean clean and clean again before you begin.

I've wrapped the chrome strip on the trunk lid and was very happy with it. Will be dipping wheels soon. Not sure I want to try and dip trim.
