Spacers

Just wanted to check in and share some experience with you guys.

I have tried two versions of spacers from ECStuning (10mm) and from H&R (12mm) and both did not fit.

Right now, The only thing I'd recommend trying is non-hub centric adapters less than 10mm.

I have the 19 multispokes, the back of the hub is where the spacers won't seat fully.

Did you purchase your spacers from ECS?

I am looking to put on 12mm all around, but cannot seem to find extended bolts. Where did you get yours from?

Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Is it possible to provide part numbers?

The chamfer on the spacers I have do not fully insert into the rear of the hub on the wheel. Installing them would cause vibrations, with the current fitment.

Might be a size difference with the C300 and the C450, he has a C300.

It's just that same wheels are available on the 300.

I've never had a hard time getting spacers for a car.

I am going to resort to just getting 8mm if I can't find a tried and true set-up.

8mm in the rear should really help, by I think it will leave a bit left to be desired.

Granted idk **** about spacers but everything I've read thus far tells me that everything has a tighter fit inside the C450 wheel well.

This is due to the suspension, not the actual wheel.

And AFAIK, the 19 inch wheels are the same on the 300 as the are on the 450.

No, not ECS. I bought them off ebay. Believe it or not, they are super good quality, and fitment is perfect. They stay on the wheel when I pull the wheels off. Zero vibration. As a matter of fact, he accidentally sent me 4 12mm, when I requested 12 and 15, so he sent me 15's without requiring I send the 12's back. So I have 2 12mm for sale if anyone want them. $30+shipping.

As for Lugs, they came with lugs. But there is a guy locally here called lugman who sells all sizes of extended lugs.

hmm, can you post a link to the product? I may be interested in them - but I am weary on using ebay spacers.

Or you can get into contact with OSMS_Carlsson @OSMS_Carlsson for custom made spacers. He extended the offer to me and I declined thinking I could spend half the money. Looks like I'll end up spending the same money and not getting what I wanted.

I have the 19 multispokes, the back of the hub is where the spacers won't seat fully.
I apologize that the price was not within your budget, I have tried to be very flexible with the pricing, but I am not offering Chinese made spacers and bolts, the spacers I am using and fit to my car that has given everyone the exact specs is 12mm front and 15mm rear, these spacers are forged and cut to exact MB specs (Not sharing with Audi 66.6) they are exactly 66.56 in and out, this way there is absolutely no vibrations...I have posted a video on my instagram showing my W205 going from 70-80+ and there is no vibrations in the steering wheel. The lugs provided with the kit are cold Forged R.A.D. lug bolts from Germany, and you must remember that you need a Ball seat lug, not a standard aftermarket conical lug seat. I am a small business and happy to help whenever and wherever I can, but I cannot work for free, the products I am providing have a cost and unfortunately I cannot just give away parts. This is one of those situations where, you get what you pay for!

If some of you want to get together to do a group buy, I am happy to try and work out a special price for 3-5 packages, but keep in mind I am in California and I cannot get away from sales tax, so if you are in Cali I have to charge tax. Sorry.

Do you have any on hand, currently? Or do they have to be made to order?
I can ship in 1-2 days, just need to confirm if you want the black bolts, or if you want the standard Zinc plated with the covers?

We can also supply the locks, we just need to machine 2 of the lock studs for the front wheels...this way you don't need to buy 2 locks sets.

Best to email me.

Hi Jim/All

I'd be interested in being a part of a group buy. I'm seeking the package of the 12 and 15 mm plus extended bolts in black.

Anyone else wants to join, PM me.

Locks are available as well, but I don't sell cheap Taiwan made locks, the locks are also from R.A.D. Germany and I will machine the threads of 2 for the front so they are the proper length front and rear and you don't have to buy 2 sets.

Price the factory locks, they are $139.00 for the factory MB lock set, the R.A.D. Lock Kit is $129.00 and I will cover the machine charge for cutting down 2 of the bolts.

Best to pm or email me.

Hi Sylvainsm and xxstoyanxx - I contacted Jim and he is prepared to do something for the three of us and asks that each of us to email him directly to set it up. I will be emailing him to set up my order, if you would like to do the same, I think he is cutting us a group deal. Jim, thanks again.

Hi all

I'm reviving this discussion in the hopes that others will take Jim up on his offer to do a group pricing deal for us. I have my order in to him and if anyone else wants to jump on board, please email Jim directly.

I want to respect the fact that Jim is doing a reduced price offering in return for several of us providing business to him. Hopefully some of you are interested and we can group our orders. Thanks.

Just FYI.

The spacers this guy is offering are:

1. overpriced, by about 200% (compared to extremely reputable brands, such as H&R).

2. No guarantee of them actually being of higher quality than what 25% of the price will get you

3. and the sizes he is offering are set up for a C300 and not a C450 (the offsets are different on the front wheels)

He was very helpful, but, this is important information.

I've been running these spacers on my C450 for months and the fit was perfect and they've been rock solid.

By the way, I shopped H&R as well as ECS and the problem is even if you get spacers that fit, some companies don't carry the bolts at the proper length. Jim provided bolts that fit exactly.
