2015 C300 (w205) Alignment question
Hi All,
I just dropped my 2015 C300 (w205) Sport on H&R Springs ( 1.2" drop ). I went in for re-alignment and was told that they adjusted as much as they could but i would need camber kit.
need expert help as to what should i do to fix this issue? I didn't find any camber / toe kit for my car. is it really needed?
here is pic of wheel alignment results ( wheel works )

My wifes' W205 has a slight drift to the right when driving on a flat road and the steering wheel is slightly canted to the right. Aside from the dealer, any recommendations for a qualified alignment shop in Fresno CA?

MBWorld Fanatic!
Mercedes require specialized alignment equipment so most independent shops won't be able to do one for you. Possibly a dedicated MB Indie, but it's still going to run you around $150. Dealer is the best bet.

have the same car, installed the exact same springs in may. Only now when snow hit have I realized have AWFUL my car is driving it is worse than my rear wheel drive is300. Even with blizzaks on. I’ve had this car for three years and have never had issues. So I take my car to Mercedes for an alignment since tires plus won’t do it. $200 sure whatever as long as it’s done right. Guess what Mercedes did not DO ANYTHING. And lied to me about it. It snowed again and wow it was scary. How the f can the dealership let me drive such an unsafe car is beyond me. My friend thankfully has a shop and did the alignment for me last night. Spent 5 hours on it. Had to adjust the arms, I do need to get struts so I will be buying Bilstein all around and adjustable control arms for the front. He got it as close as he could though. I will be calling Mercedes Monday for a REFUND so yes you do need to buy struts and arms. Do you have an update on what you did? I’m very curious!! Thanks! Picture below is how they gave me my car back and said absolutely NOTHING about it.

YES, TODAY’S AUTO’S THE OFTEN QUOTED REASSURING “FULL FRONT & REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT” IS ONLY “TOE” (DIRECTIONAL) ADJUSTMENT.
THERE IS NO CAMBER OR CASTER TO ADJUST TIRE CONTACT ANGLES – spread load more evenly, improve traction. Excess edge load also leading to ruptured side walls and rim damage.
It is new car industries best kept secret. It is all to do with cost savings and ever increasing speed of assembly lines.
We saw the need therefore to manufacture and reinstate from the early 90’s Front Camber and Caster adjuster kits and Rear Camber (and extra Toe adjustment to compensate) for every model Mercedes Benz 1968 to 2020 - Sedans, Coupes, SUV’s, AMG/BLACK also Lite Commercials.
FOR THE C300 (and every W205 model):
1. FRONT BUDGET PRICED CAMBER (AND CASTER) KIT PROVIDING ADJUSTMENT FOR THE 1ST TIME ($380 both sides, less than the cost of one high performance tire).
Background with this KMAC kit is that it provides up to 1.5 degrees (Positive or Negative) Camber change which is 5 times the adjustment range of the inaccurate (one offset position) fluted bolts – which cannot be fitted to W205 models.
This 1.5 degrees is more than enough to resolve most costly, premature tire wear issues.
Designed to simply replace the front “upper arm, inner bushings”. Extraction tool included allowing fitment without need for special tools or upper arm removal.
Also importantly retaining the OEM high strength forged alloy arms (not the concern of replacing with welded, fabricated arms).
P/N 503316-2 J Priced at $380 (both sides) including the extraction tool.
2. ALTERNATIVELY “COMPLETE UPPER REPLACEMENT ARMS” like above (#1) they are “both Camber and Caster” adjustable
These KMAC complete arms are same design as OEM. The security, peace of mind of high strength, forged alloy / not welded, fabricated.
Many brands provide Camber only. But “Caster” adjustment allows to compensate for Camber change plus correctly resolves steering pull.
P/N 503316-3 P $795(both sides)
3. PLUS ALSO FRONT LOWER (not upper) REPLACEMENT CAMBER AND CASTER BUSHINGS. Replacing at same time the 4 highest wearing, providing again up to 1.5 degree Positive or Negative Camber adjustment.
This Unique KMAC patented design allows precise single wrench adjustment – accurately under load, direct on alignment rack.
The 2 forward facing thrust arm bushes (now precisely Caster adjustable) unlike other brands set new standards - KMAC being Mono ball / 2 Axis, allowing arms to travel through their “required suspension arcs” without binding / locking up. Plus the advantage of improved “brake and steering” response by eliminating the soft rubber, oil and air voided OEM bushings.
Another KMAC design breakthrough is bushings have more than twice the load bearing, impact area of steel spherical bearings - that with their wafer thin teflon liners soon pound out.
C300-350 P/N 502916 K $480 (both sides)
C300-450 (4 MATIC) P/N 503416K $480 (both sides)
C63/C/S P/N 503316 K $480 (both sides)
FOR THE REAR SUSPENSION:
4. LOWER ARM INNER BUSHINGS Camber (and also extra Toe adjustment to compensate for the new rear Camber facility). Precise single wrench adjustable.
·* Note “lower arm” adjusts bottom of tire inwards when wanting to reduce costly, premature inner edge wear.
ALL W205 models:
Airmatic #502326 K $480 (both sides)
Coil susp. Incl. C63/C/S #502226 K $480 (both sides)
AMG #502326 K $480 (both sides)
5. ALTERNATIVELY UPPER CAMBER ARMS (also extra Toe adjustment to compensate)
* Adjusts top of tire outwards when wanting to reduce inner edge wear
P/N 502226-1 M $595 (both sides)
P/N 502226-3 M (C63/C/S) $595 (both sides)
ANOTHER POPULAR REAR KIT MANUFACTURED:
“Uprated bushings” for the ’6’ multi link rear arms - less twitch, flex, loss of traction – especially when applying power to lane change / overtake
All W205 models:
P/N 502628 K $480 (both sides)
DHL Air worldwide $40 one kit, $20 each additional. PayPal, Visa or M/Card.

thank you for your help.

There is no Camber or Caster to adjust tire contact angles spread load more evenly.
To try and placate best align tech can advise is “have adjusted Toe back to factory specs” (but no success re compensating for basic problem of excess premature Camber wear)!
