Lazy Transmission in S+ mode in C300

About two months ago I reset my transmission computer. Ever since then I've noticed something weird. I had always assumed that it would eventually "learn" my driving type but so far no go.

Issue is that when putting the car into S+ mode the transmission itself doesn't seem to change at all. It will still shift very similarly to the shifting in comfort mode. I've noticed myself cruising at 40mph in 7th gear plenty of times.

It doesn't get "lazy" on me all the time, but definitely 4 out of 5 trips out it will be.

My fix at the moment is to just paddle it down into third gear over and over until it figures out what I want it to do or until I break 50mph, in which case it will eventually shift into fourth and then behave properly afterwards.

Should I reset again? Should I tinker around with "Individual" mode going forward?

have you tried having the dealer look at it?

no sense in DIY'ing a car under warranty IMO
