I checked my vin on the site in UK and it claims I qualify.... I couldn't complete registration without a video chat with Mercedes, tho.... 😢

The owners manual for the 2018 E400 coupe on the MBUSA web page describes operation and use of the remote parking pilot. Hoping the manual is correct and my new E400 coupe will have it.

I got information that this option is working only with 360 degree camera option. So if you do not have this option installed remote parking pilot will not be available.

I was told today it is not available in the U.S.A.
So seems that there are different answers depending on who kne speaks with.

"Remote" parking is available in select European countries with Parking Pilot there - "Remote" is not available with North American Parking Pilot.

Before the chat attack - it's not available in North America for regulatory reasons - since here it's classified as "Unattended Vehicle Operation" ..

I wonder why BMW is able to offer a similar feature here in the USA. Must be some techincal difference in how the systems operate.

For the E-class though...
