Today, I brought my car to be washed through an automatic soft touch car wash. This was actually my 17th time bringing the car to the same spot. The car's transmission is required to be in neutral and I was unable to put it into neutral. The car was still running and I tried several attempts but it would always skip neutral and move into park. I tried several variations, engaging the park, to drive and then to neutral. Nothing worked until I finally enaged park, turned the car off and then restarted. It's the first time this have ever happened and I can't explain it.

You know what they say. The 18th time is the charm. Not sure why the selector got buggy. But you don't have a FWD car. RWD or AWD.
