How can I remove this scratch?

I noticed the other day there is a minor scratch in the door trim. Does anyone know how to remove this?
I don't have kids nor have a lot of passengers but found that scratch while I was cleaning it...

Help me out

Thanks

If you scrape a fingernail over it can you feel it catch on the defect? If so, you'll probably have to live with it. If not, try a little polishing compound on a clean cloth and work it in the same direction as the grain in the trim.

Be careful with polishing. This highly likely results in a more glossy area than it's surrounding. I would rather have the scratch then.

Yeah don't do that. A very tiny bit on a clean cloth applied with you finger tip. Take a pass or two and then wipe away the excess to see what you're getting.

Update

My purchasing and servicing dealer
was thankful enough to replace the door trim and
the door handle with a peeled paint at the other side.
Really random that it happened on the rear because
I rarely even open the back seat...
noticed that while detailing the car.
Issue solved.
MB is willing to cover excessive cosmetic wear under warranty.
