Voice Control
Looking forward to picking up the new car tomorrow. Does anyone know whether the C Class (with premium plus) has natural voice control? I found this video when searching online
but I am not sure if the C Class has this? I am coming from a BMW with iDrive with nuance which is awesome (it even understands my dulcet tone!)
Any ideas?

NOT for C class according to MB CS who I asked.
just like everything else MB do atm, no apps, no concierge (UK), no CarPlay (until very recently but only with non COMAND cars).

Frankly I’ve learned over the years to buy the least tech possible, it breaks, doesn’t work as you want, as advertised or expect and is outdated in months.
use your mobile phone.

That isn’t what the OP is talking about. You are talking COMAND Linguatronic or limited Audio 20 support.
The OP is talking about an online service which allows fluid speech recognition and is NOT related to Linguatronic.

Loved this, gave me a good laugh this morning. I’m so surprised that Merc are that far behind. Took my thirteen year old nephew for a spin in it yesterday and to quote him “Satnav is a bit **** Uncle Tim”. (It looks like one of my first TomTom satnavs from years ago... and it’s the upgraded Command Online). I love the car but will definitely miss the Nuance voice control and iDrive from BMW.

Oh - by the way - here in the US there are two Nav systems - with Audio 20 the Garmin Nav SD card system - and then there is COMAND Voice Control Nav - since I am not familiar here in the US with "Premium Plus" - exactly which Nav system voice control are you have "misunderstandings" with ?
