2016 C300 1991cc petrol fan belt breaking. Why??

Broke at 4000kms then at 14000kms. The engine is never thrashed. There was no sound prior to the break. There was no squeeks or squeels or any fraying.

I don't think there is a fan belt - - the engine cooling fan is electric. The accessory drive belt will not break except if there is something broken, e.g. AC pump seized? alternator seized?

Thank you. I agree.I'm tending to think there is a foreign object in the coolant water that periodically jambs the impeller in the water pump !!
Do you agree that if it was pully missalignment somewhere that there would be huge damage to the belt along its entire length just prior to breaking..?
Could the alternator stop if something reversed its current for a few seconds .. i used to drive dump trucks in a mine in West Aussie and the wheel motors (electric) were turned in to generators when braking just like a diesel electric locomotive.
If the air conditioner compressor locked up momentarily, i would think that that would be a known fault with them ??
