Hi,

I have recently purchased a 2016 C450 AMG through a private dealer. The vehicle has the manufacturers warranty, for 4 years or 80K (which ever comes first).

I am now looking at options to purchase the extended warranty. Can anyone please recommend any good places or things to be watchful about when buying these warranties ?

I am not sure about the following:
1) is it worth it to buy the ext warranty - I plan to keep the car for not more than 3-5 years.
2) Should I get it from Merceders dealership directly ? or through private dealers
3) What are some of the things I should be watchful about in warranties - I noticed there are plenty of bundle packages and I am not sure if its worth it to get those.

Like AimanAMG, I'm also very interest to hear members opinion/recomemdation on "Extended Warranty Purchase Option".

i paid 2000$ for 7 years / 75000 miles.
i think i'm better off not buying it.
car comes with 50,000 miles warranty. so for that extra 25,000 miles, i paying 2000$.
i think if there is a problem with the car in that extra 25000 miles, it wont need 2000$ to fix it.

MBs have 4 yrs/50k miles. Not 80. Would be nice though.
