CPOCD? Exposed Wire Harness Under Driver's Seat?

Welcome!
Bought a 2019 CPO C300W last week, lunar blue/black with only 4600 miles. Didn't think I could find this color combo in a low-mile CPO with just enough options. Really love the car, but my CPOCD has not subsided.
Today took it for first wash, and while vacuuming the front driver seat mat, noticed a bunch of wiring was exposed. See below. Then took a look under the passenger's seat, and similar cluster was encased with black nylon type fabric. Does anyone know if the wires under the passenger seat are supposed to be equally protected? If so, it's a trip to the dealer, uugh. Thanks!

Exposed wires are probably fine for most people, but I like my Big Gulps, and they sometimes leak high-fructose corn syrup!

It's really not a big deal unless you think you'll somehow flood the cabinet. I wouldn't worry about it. The main reason for the wrapping is to organize them and prevent them from snagging anything when the seat is moved but quite honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. It's protected enough under the seat that wet shoes and leaky big gulps really shouldn't cause you any problem.

Thanks RemmyZero! That makes sense. I'm wondering if they forgot to wrap them at the factory. Oh well, maybe this will be my incentive to quit soda!

CPOCD? Exposed Wire Harness Under Driver's Seat?

Hi orddfw.
Found this thread searching for exactly the same issue, I recently bought a c43 coupe and the passenger seat has this black nylon type fabric to cover the bulk of wires underneath and my drivers seat does not.
This is a big deal it looks ugly and its nothing to do with protection of flooding the cabinet? or cabin? (its just a piece of cloth) you could push to say maybe snagging but visual issue mainly.
I have actually taken the car to Mercedes as i have a few issue, I had the parts person looking and the service guys they had no idea, said they checked all the drawing for the seats wires etc... actually his exact words "the part does not exist"

Here are some more picture.
Any actual help would be good, think i may just have to find someone breaking a W205 and ask if they have one to sell.

A gaggle of MB's
Just order new from your dealer at about same price - could be new cheaper online if you do a search...
