AMG paddle shifters on a W205

I'm looking for an aftermarket paddle shifter that would give me the same "gun like" "clunk clunk" feel when you hit the shifter on an AMG product that fits on a W205 non-AMG; I have the sports flat bottom wheel though. I would prefer the gun metal (real metal feeling) material, but as long as it gives me that nice very tactile feel, I don't care how big, or what colour it is.

Brabus seems like it's for AMG only.
I see a lot of random paddle shifters on Ebay, not sure which ones would get me the legit AMG feeling shifter.

Anybody have any experience in this area?

I've seen this around as well. They go on top of my stock paddles so I was thinking it wouldn't really feel like an amg paddle. I could be wrong.

I bought a Red Carbon Fiber Start Stop button from the same company so I think the paddles will complement them well imo.

The internals of the paddles are all constructed the same. So you will NEVER have a mechanical feel on the paddle.

There are a few ways to design a rocker switch (which is what a shift paddle is essentially). Mercedes uses a silicone type material (not 100% certain) as a spring. There is not that much of "clunk clunk" feeling in them. It is really mushy; think of like pushing a silicone button on a phone.

You can get Factory original shift paddles in metal, but it will push exactly the same as plastic ones. Also not all the paddles can interchange, the plastic block may be a different shape.

OP if you ever get this done, please report back. I would love to have a better feel for my paddle shifters as well.

Are all W205 cars (incl c63) have the same paddles?

63 usually has the square one. Others have both styles.

Thanks for that, I had no idea the paddles shifters in the C63 were different to the ones in the C43.
