New wheels - Wheel Vibration ! hub rings ?
Hello everyone
I'm trying to find a hub ring to make my Niche rims fit on the hub without creating these vibration issues. Does anyone custom make wheel centric hubs? I cannot find the 66.56 - 66.60 conversion I need. Has anyone else made this mistake and found a way to resolve it? Any advice is helpful thanks.

Are the wheels really 66.6mm center bore? 66.56 (Mercedes) to 66.6, you'd need to have 66.6 wheel. If so, there's tape that's .04mm thick. I couldn't find hub rings that thin. That's a puzzler.

yes, these wheels came off an RS4. From my understanding Merc used to be all 66.6 and in the W205 they changed it to 66.56 ? Hence my vibration issues.
This suggestion to use tape is a good one! what kind of tape did you use exactly?

they're 19.8.5 square setup so they fill out the wheel wells very well, they even stick out a bit which is nice. I'm not sure of the offset I got them used off an RS4, was a really good deal with near new tires.

I haven't used tape, myself. But if you need a .04mm hub ring to seat your wheels properly I don't think you'll find it in an actual hub ring. I saw some .04mm copper tape online, so you might be able to find aluminum tape in that size (.04mm thick). The lugs will hold everything in place, but the tape is theoretically there to make sure you torque the lugs with the wheel seated perfectly around the hub. Should be an inexpensive experiment, regardless of outcome.

has anyone gotten around this problem?
I just got a set of BBS CI-R and the hub size is 66.6, and have a small vibration, which I thought it was bad balance, and I had the company balance them three times.
