2015 c300 OEM headlight harness help
So I had an accident, I had to pay out of pocket. Instead of buying oem headlights I bought the ones on eBay which are $1200 cheaper. The problem is that the wiring harness is not the same. I’m guessing the ones on eBay are for the headlights which are non LED. My car has the ones with the active running light. What options do I have? The lights are mounted but aren’t connected. Do they sell a harness? Help guys thank you

Send it back to the seller if possible. There is no way to retrofit a lessor light than what is in your car already. You should have looked up the number of the light part that you were replacing before ordering since there are 3 levels of headlights. Goodluck.

The pigtail should come with a conversion diagram.
I’ll keep looking, but I’ve never done this conversion so no personal knowledge
sorry
hopefully people will keep looking at these posts

There was a Youtuber video I found by accident where a guy was replacing the headlight on a Mercedes however a previous shop couldn't find out why the headlight was not working. He then explained the wiring and what each one was for, then he said the main issue that the headlight didn't work was because it needed to be programmed.

I dont think you need programing, but it's a possibility. I havent ruled that out yet because the running lights are on. when i plug them in the running lights stay constantly on. In order to turn it off I need to manually disconnect them.
