The “Daily” 2015 C300 Build

Longtime member in different wheelbases & picked up a CPO steel grey 2015 C300 with 34k miles. Using it to offset the mileage on my GLC43 since I commute a significant amount for leisure & the mpg is better. Trying my best to hold back on the modding but will do something here & there.

First pic after I had the car polished & ceramic coated to get swirls & minor scratches out.

A week after, decided to chrome delete and knocked out be following:
Gloss black vinyl wrap front lip, window trim, & trunk trim.
Tint tail lights.
Gloss black AMG style grill.
C63 style diffuser with black “muffler” tips.
OEM gloss black mirror housing.

On the to do list is a set or H&R springs (I'll change the shocks out at 50k miles). Debating between an AWE Touring exhaust or going custom cat-back to get a little grumble out of her. Once the tires are at 50%, I have a set of BBS CH-Rs from a CLA250 that will fit. Hopefully that will be it...

Yes, trunk spoiler is OEM. Debating whether I wanna swap out with a CF one along with a roof spoiler & vinyl wrap the roof as well. It never ends...

Looks good. Palladium Silver or Steel gray were my #2 choice after Iridium Silver & Lunar/Brilliant Blue.

Glad to see the black wrap. The 'chrome' on my front lip is cracked in a few places & I've been thinking about pulling it to wrap it, but probably in a satin black. Will eventually follow up with the window trims.

My assumption is it's a vinyl wrap, or similar. Not an overly difficult process if you're patient.

Thanks. I’m aware it’s vinyl. He states that in his post. Just curious how he went about it. What had to be disassembled....just the process he went with. Thanks

Doesn't have to be dis-assembled. The vinyl wrap guy I use basically came to me & did everything without taking anything apart.

De chroming a c300

its super easy guys to dechrome the c300

i did mine by just buying a large roll of black 3m vinyl
I think it was like 4’x8’and just use a single piece to do each side. It literally takes like 15 minutes to do each side. For the door handles I just did carbon covers
I wrapped the front and rear chrome as well but ended up just doing carbon splitter up front. I did the rear trunk chrome in carbon 4d vinyl
looks pretty good

I thought the steel gray was almost the same color as then , so I didn’t want it. but after seeing yours it make me want the steel over the silver. Your look sooo nice!

Turned out fine & to my liking. My installer said it was good quality based off his experience.

Lowered with H&R Sport Springs (installed @ 714 Tires). 20” x 8.5” BBS CH-Rs powdercoated satin gunmetal with Hankook Ventus V12 245/35/20 (wheels powdercoated & tires from Metalworks & Tireplace in Santa Ana). Also did a black hood emblem & JB Speed door-pins but didn't get to taking pics yet. Few more to do's & I swear I'm done...
