C300 Head Rests
I purchased a 2016 C300 4Matic Sport (W205) a few days ago and I LOVE it. I have noticed a problem with the passenger side head rest. I noticed a slight rattling noise coming from it going over the train tracks by my house . I can move the head rest up and down, but the side button to move it forward and back doesn't work . I removed the head rest and noticed when I shake it the rattling is loud. When I push the button one side moves but the other is stuck. Any suggestions? Please help. Im still under factory warranty but was wondering if there is something I can do .thanks

Same problem ... internal plastic parts were loose. Fixed under warranty.

I recently had mine replaced, under warranty, due to rattle. Nothing you can do. Small plastic pieces have broken inside the headrest. It’s so nice without the rattle now. |
Ugh it's so annoying. I made it slightly worse by shaking it lol. How long did it take? Did they have to order the part or is that something they usually have on site? Thanks for your help everyone.

a couple days for me in conjunction with service A. Don't sweat it...just deal with it until is fixed lol

Yep, warranty, have it replaced. Need to do the same with mine.
They misdiagnosed my complaint the last time & thought I meant that the power headrest button was inop on the pass side. |
Hey thanks for the help you guys . Scheduled to see the dealer on Sunday .
