You know, I really like this light, except it's location. I think it better suited in the lower right of the grill, instead of next to the star. Balances it of better IMO. Sort of like the Camaro Z28 designation. I like it better than the illuminated star.

I tried placing it on the right side, but it didn't look right on this grille. Maybe on the new diamond grille.

Agree, I think it would nice on my CAB grill....unfortunately, it's not an AMG. Wish they had something like a script "cabriolet" or something more in tune with my model.
NOW IF YOU COULD ONLY CHANGE THE COLORS....WOW! I do like it on the right side of your car though; personal tastes.
Are you going to make it a permanent mod on your car? I may be in the minority, but I like it.
