Awful Font Tyre Wear. - Camber Issues

Hi All

I recently had to change the front tyres (225/40 R19) on my 2017 c250D AMG Line. The car has covered 16k miles, which I was not too impressed with, though never having owned a RWD car, am willing to accept this as the norm until proved otherwise.
Tread wear patern was awful, the outer edge of both tyres was at over 4mm depth, whilst the inner almost through to the canvas. In addition, there was fairly significant saw tooth tyre wear across the rest of the tread pattern. I’ve swapped over to Michelin Pilot 4’s, non runflat for comfort and hopefully a little more longevity, covering 6k miles per month a swap at 16k is a bit of a bummer. The OEM’s were Conti Sport runflat.
Whilst in the fitters, I asked them to sort alignment, but they found the real culprit to be the Camber settings, which apparently only Mercedes can address. See the attached photo of tyre toe and camber settings. Are these anywhere close to normal on a 205? Does this really need to return to Mercedes to be remidied?

Thanks for any responses.

All look within specs. Front toe is out of range but I think they adjusted it or the handle was not centered when you took the photo. You can adjust the chamber using chamber bolts if you want but it’s in normal range. MB sell the bolt.

Yes OEM there is only Front and Rear Toe directional adjustment. NO Camber or Caster to adjust tire contact angles to compensate for costly, premature edge tire wear.

Essential to cater for other than showroom height conditions. Day to day commuting encountering high cambered roads, fitting wide profile tire / wheels, altered height through load carrying or lowering, correctly fixing steering pull and allowing to adjust for curb knock damage.

You can fit (front only) inaccurate one offset position bolts and only offering 1/8 inch (0.3 degree) adjustment.

We saw the need therefore to re-instate from the early 90's once again full front and rear adjustment providing up to 4 times range of the one offset position bolts.

Fixing it right the first time - no more ongoing trips to dealers or alignment shops or constantly changing tire brands.

Unique K-MAC design is precise single wrench accurately (under load) - direct on alignment rack. At same time replacing the 4 front and rear highest wearing suspension bushings - first items to fail.

Another popular kit manufactured is uprated bushings for the 6 rear multi link arms. Less twitch, flex, loss of traction. Especially when applying power to lane change, overtake

Front Camber & Caster Adjustment Kit P/N 503416 K $480

Rear Camber (extra Toe) Kit P/N 502226 K $480

Rear Uprated Multi link Bush Kit P/N 503216-1 K $480

Delivery Worldwide $30 one kit $20 each additional
