How to remove center console in w205 with manual transmission
Hello,
Does anyone know or have any instructions about how to remove the center console in a Mercedes c-class w205 with manual transmission?
I want to install an aftermarket Android Screen but all the instractions i've found are about the model with automatic transmission with the one piece console. In my car with the manual gear shifter the console consists of two pieces.
Thanks!

Hello, I finally managed to do the job.
The main difference is that in the Mercedes c-class w205 with manual transmission you must first remove the horizontal part of the center console and then the vertical part in front of the head unit.
For detailed instructions on how to remove the horizontal cover on center console see hear: https://mbwis.net/en/doc/7069129
First of all you must be very careful removing the silver cover on the storage box as descripted here: https://mbwis.net/en/doc/7068958
Because there are 4 clips keeping the silver cover in place, first you must pull up with your fingers the front of storage box cover (from the two ears at the sides) until retaining clips are audibly released. Then, and thats a little bit tricky, you must lift carefully the back of the silver cover inserting a plastic
removal tool between the silver cover and the base of the center console and pulling up and verticaly simultanuesly. Be careful not to brake the 2 clips under the silver cover at the back. In all the videos i saw describing the removal procedure by simply pulling from the front they had the two clips at the back broken.
Then you can easily lift the horizontal part of the center console unscrewing the two bolts. You must also detach shift lever knob as descripted here: https://mbwis.net/en/doc/7071535
You must unclip the frame with gearshift lever boot from the center console and flip up and over shift lever handle. To do that it is easier to use your fingers and push the clips underνεατη the lifted center console.
After removing the gearshift lever boot and detaching two electrical connections you can finally remove the horizontal part of the center console completely.
The removal of the vertical part of the center console is very easy as shown here: https://mbwis.net/en/doc/7051395
Just pull with your hands the cover out at bottom first, and then unclip from retaining clips and remove until electrical connectors are accessible. Disconnect the two electrical connectors and you are done.

It's for an automatic but this might help. Manual transmission cars use the same cover it's just farther back because of the console difference.

just wanted to be 100% sure on Manual Transmission because the Center Console on Manual Transmission is slightly different from the automatic ones.
The Cover of the Center Console on the Manual Transmission is divided into 2 parts on the automatic otherhand its one big part, thats why i wanted to be sure how exactly it has to be removed or where the screws are located or how to find them on the Manual Transmission.
On the other side i dont know how to remove the center cover with his shifting knob and the drink holder is located different than on the automatic.
thats why i think people want an Special guide for the manual ones includes me, cuz it still has some questions unanswered.
but thanks for replying ! and sorry for my bad English.
hope to hear from you guys

The lower half appears to disassemble exactly like the one-piece version. Remove the silver center console latch. Remove two Torx20 screws, and then lift up from that end.
Once you have the lower half out, it looks like the upper half is held in with tabs and clips. No screws shown in the diagram for that part.
