Crank position sensor (one off) is at the engine-transmission joint in the 11 o'clock position as viewed from the driver's seat. Standard MB location. Replacement, if needed, usually occurs at higher mileage.
Cam position sensors (two off) are at the front of the engine on the cam cover / valve cover. These are known to leak oil into the engine harness and may require replacement with fewer than 100k miles.

Good day, does the camshaft sensor(s) & or crankshaft sensor have to be recalibrated ? On a 15’C300
If your cam timing indicator plates have slipped, that is a different problem and not a sensor problem.
Slipped cam timing plates require removing cams. There are posts on this site.

We appreciate the "to the point" answer.
Can you kindly confirm what are the symptoms of a problematic Crack Position Sensor and the Cam Position Sensor?
Do they both need to be changed at the same time or can you only change one or the other?
