W205 Conversion from Sport to Classic/Elegance
As some of you will be aware, earlier this year I updated our W205 C-Class from the Sport Spec to the Classic/Elegance model which is not available within the UK - I know some of you on here will wonder WTF I did this for, however bare in mind that this option is not avaiable in England.
I have finally created a video on this, my longest one yet. It took me an age to create this video on my channel, I hope you enjoy it

Wow @KILLERHERTZ that's a fantastic video you've put together. It looks great with the classic grill and bumper installed.
It looks like your version isn't fitted with the active grill shutters that close up when parked and at highway speeds. That feature was the primary reason I went for the Luxury (Classic/Exclusive) package (here in the US) when purchasing my W205. Still love the standup hood ornament!

I bought my 2016 C300 CPO because it had the luxury package. I also noticed in the killerhertz video that there are no adjustable louvers. Will this have an effect on function? I have owned at least 10 Mercedes over the last 50 years with the upright star, and I prefer this traditional look. A lesson I learned early while living in NYC-don't leave the star on the car while it is parked in the street on St. Patrick's Day. Over the years I only had a couple of stars stolen. They are pretty easy to replace, and at least at this point available on eBay for less than $20.

Thanks for feedback. No it's just the 1.6ltr C200 version with no active shutters so the swap won't effect it
I've had loads stolen in the past aswell

It looks excellent- great job! I appreciate the video and how hard you worked on it! If you’ve seen my post history, much of it involves inquiries around this process. I’m curious about a few things- in looking at the exploded parts diagrams, there are many small parts and bumper supports that apply to “c300 sport w/o distronic,” etc. Did you meed to purchase these bumper supports/attachment points? I would really appreciate it if you could either post or pm me a parts list of what was required. I plan on starting my conversion soon, and it would be a huge help. Again, awesome job, super impressive!

To be more specific regarding if you needed certain parts, the ones I am wondering about are:
Side Mounts- 205-885-08-65 and 205-885-07-65
Cover Support 205-885-13-65
Energy Absorber- 205-885-09-37

Sorry I dont have these im afraid, if you can find someone with an EPC they can list them for you.
They are on the car now so I cant see the numbers of course.
The car is a C200d (Diesel) which is a 1.6ltr Engine, our fuel prices are double that of the USA so diesels are more popular here than Petrol engines.
