Interior light question
Greetings,
I have a 2015 C400, I wanna my car’s interior looks better so I’m wondering if I could add the interior light. Do I have to do it by MB dealer (programming thing)or I can install some aftermarket by myself?
I am not sure if the dealer can do it or not.

While it is possible to retrofit your car with ambient lighting the dealer will not do it. Neither will they do the coding and enabling the new features in the car's menu.
You can do the installation yourself or take it to a shop. For the coding part you'll definately have to find a shop. No worries though, there are places that do it everywhere, in almost every country.

There are many different sellers of the ambient lighting for this car. I went from no ambient lighting and installed the 3 color lighting by myself. A 64 color came out and I ordered and installed that too. Coding is done by a little ODB2 plug device.

I found the 3 color ambient light on Amazon and it says comes with a programmer. Now I am start to thinking about 64 color.... but there is a one star customer reviews, I am not sure should I have it or not.
