PM2.5 Cabin filtration
Hi,
I live in Bangkok where we are having some pretty bad PM2.5 air quality issues right now.
Does anybody know if the factory cabin filters (I have a 2018 C43) remove PM2.5 matter or is is something available from Mercedes as an option?

I would suggest you consider three things... since PM2.5 particles are so-so small they can only be addressed in the best commercial true HEPA filtration systems - which vehicles simply do not have..
1. There are two filters in your system... a "particulate filter" and the "cabin filter" - this gives you a good look at both filters to see what they are about :

2. Become familiar with the Air Recirculation button on your Climate Control - when activated that cuts off exterior air from coming into the system (red light on) for about 30min - in high humidity area like Bangkok since this also stops de-humidification of the cabin air than can lead to interior fogging. You can manually activate - activate again in succession - or deactivate when on to prevent fogging.
3. Car Ionizer's are something you could consider - a true "ionizer" will charge PM2.5 pollutants so they will "catch" on interior surfaces (like glass or carpet) - the Koreans and Japanese have built some righteous units - China makes a bunch on not-great ionizers. One of the best sellers in Japan is this Sharp unit:
