What tire pressure are you running?

For the past 140,000 miles on my 2016 C300 4matic I have been running what's on the door jamb label, 36 front, 45 rear. Today I tried running what's posted inside of the gas door, 36 front and rear. The car rides much smoother, quieter and I still got 35.1 mpg on a 500 mile round trip today. I am also using run flats, for now...staggered 18’s.

Curious what others are running?

Are you on 17s, 18s, or 19s?

I'm on staggered 19" Pirelli P Zero Luxury tires and run 40psi front and rear.

Thanks

I have 225/50/17 on a 2015 RWD and run 39 psi front / 45 psi rear. I have noticed different settings in the door jamb and gas tank. I never got a great answer about this but I just found this online which explains it. Maybe I should drop it.
The dealer and some tire places have dropped it to 39 psi all around so even they are not sure at time.

I think I like 36 psi both front and rear, the ride is so much better and I am not really noticing that much of a mpg difference. I am curious if my rear tires, that already wear very quickly on the edges will wear even quicker, probably so. With the rears pumped up to 45 psi you hear every bump on the highway, and it's crazy annoying on concrete sections that have stress cracks cut every 20ft or so.

Door jam is maximum pressures. Fuel door are recommended and maximum. My dealer sets my pressure at 40 all around and that is about the middle of the recommended and maximum.

My 2019 door jamb says 41 front, 48 rear. I have run flats. Seems extreme to me....

Tire air pressure is definitely temperature, speed, and weight dependent...but distance? Please elaborate.

Pirelli PZero

Just put new Pirelli's PZero on staggered and not sure what pressure to run. Currently 40 in front & 42 rear is a rough ride for my 2016 SLK300. I live in FL. Thanks
