W205, Adaptive highbeam assist plus inoperating
Hi, My name is JANG and I have a 17MY Mercedes W205.
before 3years I retrofitted the ILS and IHC+ functions.
Recently, frequent intelligent light errors and high beam assist plus errors occurred, so re-calibration was carried out in the workshop where Retrofit was performed.
However, after that, it operates only with simple IHC rather than IHC+, and even that causes the same functional error while driving.
The workshop said that IHC+ coding was carried out normally, but the curiosity did not disappear.
At the time of the error, we found that one of the right lights was completely off, so we decided to replace the module and are waiting for the part to arrive..
I have a question regarding this.
1. If the module is a problem even if 628 IHC+ coding is performed normally, can it operate like 608 IHC coding? Even if a malfunction error occurs, it disappears when the vehicle is restarted and the function becomes available for a while. Of course, it will continue to work only with IHC.
2. Even if the LED ILS is installed, can I apply 608 IHC coding instead of 628 IHC+ coding so that only the high beam assist works?
If so, I think the retrofit company may have tricked me to hide module defects.
