Does anyone know if it is possible to repair small rips/cracks in MB-Tex seats? The driver's seat in my 2015 with 75k miles has rips/cracks forming at both front corners of the center section of the bottom seat.
The car is still under CPO warranty and I did get the dealership to add on an extra "Interior Appearance" warranty rider (I forget the actual name of it, but it covered against all spills, stains, etc, inside the car). Would a seat cover like this be covered under that?
Probably fair wear and tear. To repair properly you would need to get to the underneath of the rip to make any repair invisible. The repair kits involve creating a colour match gel from some primary coloured pastes and applying to the top of the damage ang trying to imprint a texture onto it. I tried it on black seats and it wasn't much good and given the colour of yours then you will have to try and create a colour match.
