2019 C300 4Matic W205 - Illuminated star - Which fuse?
I just hooked up the OEM illuminated star using the OEM wiring harness. I tapped into F123 as per instructions i read online in several places.
First off those images are not the exact same fuse block as mine although i have a W205. But i noticed F123 had power coming in, had a 5amp fuse there already. But wasn't connected to anything. Looked like just a spare spot.
Now the illuminated star works but it works all the time. Whenever the car is on.
So i have a couple questions.
1. What is the best fuse # to tap into to have the star on only when headlights are on (at night or while raining)?
2. I tried to go into f123 from underneath but couldn't find the right terminal connector, does anyone know the right connector to use to plug into the bottom of the fuse block?
I had to use a fuse tap and would much rather connect from the bottom of the fuse block for a cleaner job.
