Hi all, new to posting but I'm aware a broken panoramic roof (clip on one side snapped off) is an expensive fix. I'm looking to get rid of this car by the end of the year - should I expect the broken pano to knock off $2-3k? More? Just wondering if it's worth fixing before selling or trading in.

What are the quotes to fix the pano in your local area?
If you do advertise the car as is with broken equipments, you will get alot less inquiries then a car without problems.
If you are planning to knock off $3k off, I would just buy the $10 clip and spend the expensive labor to fix it.
I'm with stockbmw. Myself, when I'm shopping for a used car if anything is listed as not working I will quickly pass. To me, it shows a lack of maintenance and also shows me that the owner did not have the financial resources to take care of things or just flat-out didn't care. Who knows what else was not fixed.
