It’s time for car change, I have a 2018 C200 petrol that has been chipped 250bhp looking for an estate car as we now have dog. Any one have experience of both with pros and cons? Is 9 miles electric enough. I only do short local journeys below average mileage. Motorway values C200 at £21.5k. Budget about £30k

i cant say the 350e blows my mind. the 350d on the other hand... insane acceleration, smooth combo of engine, gearbox & electro engine.
myself however i would never go for a hybrid. better look for a C400 or C43 if you look for more power or a diesel for better economics because a hybrid = complex and if things go bad you look at expensive repairs.
even the new 206 with its +-100km electric range... too heavy and if you care so much for electric buy an electric car

Thanks for the input, yes I was concerned about the complexity issue with the hybrids and have read about the air suspension failing.
