Exterior mirror not folding completely
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a 2017 C200 W205 and after a B7 service from an independent Merc specialist, the right exterior mirror is not folding in completely, unlike the left. I tried vehicle settings (on/off automatic folding) but the mirror does not fold completely, probably 80%.
Has anyone experienced this? I suspect the mirror was manually folded then there was an attempt to unfold electronically using the adjust buttons (which of course did not work), then manually unfolded. I’m no expert but this could’ve stuffed up some mechanism inside the mirror.
Appreciate your thoughts and advice. I’d definitely call the service centre about this.
