C300 cpo extended warranty / unlimited mileage - coolant pipe
Hello,
I have a 2019 C300. 62k miles.
Coolant light came on & vehicle temperature became hot. I Brought my vehicle in to an authorized Mercedes Benz dealership. Diagnostic - coolant pipe is leaking and the coolant pipe needs to be replaced. Part: A2642008600. Dealership told me Is not covered under warranty and gave me a price for repair = 1200. The warranty contract states it covers “coolant pump”. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like the warranty covers the electric water pump but not the pipe or hoses. Not really fair, so I would try another dealer or call the dealer you bought extended warranty from to make sure it is not covered.
The only reason I can see why this would not be covered is that they consider it a wear and tear item like a water hose or a belt. These extended warranties are not as good as they make them sound to be, my MB Tex seat is splitting and it is not covered under the extended warranty because it's a wear and tear item...

Extended warranty covers coolant pipe crack
update: Mercedes was able to repair it for free as it is covered by extended warranty.

Hello folks,
My 2019 E300 has a leaking coolant hose but the local dealership stated this is not covered under the extended warranty.
I’m wondering is the coolant hose same as a pipe and how did you guys get the dealership to cover it under warranty?

I would shop around at different dealership and see if it’s covered! My dealership didn’t give me any issues. I specifically told the sales representative that I was concerned it wouldn’t be covered. He said there’s no way at around it and if there is a warranty problem it would have to be submitted to Mercedes. To my surprising It was covered for me and it save me a lot of money! Good luck. I would keep trying! The part that was specifically needed to be replace above was actual covered under warranty. I guess it’s by dealership ….
