Mercedes, the Best or Nothing
almost rear ended some idiot going like 60mph on freeway!
i was looking at passenger side mirror trying to change lane, car beep beep beep. i was thinking WTF the car beeping and no red triangle blinking? then i look at the front of me, going really close to the car in front, i have to slam on the brake to avoided collision.

i just looked at the dashcam video, looks like this f@#$er intentionally slowed down hoping i rear end him !

Ah, I-580 and moron SF Bay Area drivers. This is why I don't commute. They either saw a ghost or didn't know where they were going and missed an exit, so what does one do? Slow down in the middle of the freeway of course. That area is always kind of a chaos with the exits, onramps and forks around there.

Then pre-safe and everything starts to function like tightening seatbelts, closing sunroof and windows etc. Might emit a noise if the vehicle is equipped to save the eardrums in case there really is an impact.

The other problem is when there is something that happens roadside, people slow down and look at what it is out of curiosity, sometimes not paying attention in front and results in another accident, I heard many fender benders for example because of this.

I think you knew this already and if I remembered correctly but when anti-collision assist is activated and the driver does react to the brake pedal, active brake assist (if I remembered the term correctly) kicks in and if you do a hard brake, regardless of how hard that hard braking is, the vehicle will force the brake to be applied at maximum brake pressure just in case.
