Stuck mid-reupholster — can't remove motorized thigh support on 2019 W205 C300 4Matic
Hoping someone here has dealt with this before. I'm in the middle of reupholstering the driver's seat bottom on my 2019 C300 4Matic (W205). Got a replacement skin from Richmond Auto Upholstery, it fits perfectly.
Seat is out of the car, old skin is off, but I'm completely stuck on one thing - removing the front thigh support/extension.
Here's what I've done so far to try and remove it:
✅ Seat removed from car
✅ Old seat skin removed
✅ Released the two C-clips on the frame
The thigh support is clearly connected to a small electric motor via a lead screw in the center, and there are two rods/pivot arms on the left and right sides that are still holding it captive. I can move it further out but cannot fully detach it. I've looked everywhere inside the side brackets and can't find any clips, pins, or bolts.
I've watched the CATAHA YouTube video (W205 Remove install front seat cover and thigh support with SKTV) but that seat has a manual handle at the front while mine is the fully motorized version with no handle, and the mechanism looks very different.
Here are photos showing exactly what I'm dealing with:

Does anyone know the correct release point for the motorized thigh support on this seat? Is there even one?
Specifically how those two side rods detach from the seat frame? Any help is massively appreciated.
I don't want to force anything and crack the frame.
