Heads-up display unit on dash
I’m planning to order the 2023 C300 shortly. Have all options & color decided. I was going to go with Pinnacle for the heads-up feature. It’s just a $1k more to move to pinnacle with all,the options I’m choosing. However in photos the “bin” on the top of dash in front of driver looks huge, unattractive & distracting. It seems to mar an otherwise beautiful dash. Is it really that bad in person? Thanks for your help.

Yeah, it's pretty big. I wonder how it's supposed to be cleaned, because there's obviously a lens, etc down there.
But I agree with the above reply, the HUD is really pretty great. I would get it again.

It’s like form over function.. I love the function so will order it figuring I won’t notice it after a short while. I looked at other cars in the showroom. It appears it’s the same exact unit that is in the EQS & S-Class.. but their dash is a lot wider than the C so it isn’t as obvious. It looks like there is a curved glass down low in the unit. Interesting enough, the 2023 SL unit is about 1/4 the size.
