Freefall's CLS63 TT - Back from painter
I got my car back from paint about 3 hours ago and wanted to share a few pictures....will post more later but we painted all the chrome matte black, color matched the back chrome bar and side markers and blacked out the grill but left the circle and star alone. We did a glossy black on the center bar in the grill to better work with the glossy black behind the star. He also did a little custom job on my headlights. I am also going to install Vivid's CF spoiler (Stock spoiler is wrapped right now) and am closing in the the wheels I want. Mean looking SOB huh....

KW has a lowering kit for the CLS63's, (Vic55 has this kit on his car)
If your looking to get this beast lowered you should stop by Benzworks in Huntington beach. They do great work and are very knowledgeable.
Btw love the red accents on the exhaust tips. Great touch.

The painter came up with the scheme and if your in OC I would highly recommend him. I also shot a couple of PMs to Vic to bounce some ideas off of our local guru...
Its your world...I'm just playing in it...
PM with your local contacts if you would....
Got tons of ideas from this forum...Thanks to all!!!
I didn't mention that Renntech did my ECU. These tires can't even come close to digging if I punch it under 50 but when the car shifts from 3 to 4th in the high 80s you lose nothing and the shift is seamless....

You took some risks in doing the front as you are certainly among the first to go there with the cls63 tt...and it paid off!!! Although your rims look nice, they have almost become the weak point of your "creation". You new HRE will make her a killer...congrats!

Here is picture in production and a closer shot after. We tried to follow the LED line to create some contrast but to leave the really cool intricate part clear. I also have a smoke film on the white part of the tail lights.

I'm going to give the Freefall treatment to my head and taillights, looks phenomenal. That, painting the roof rack strip and side mirror lowers and I think I'll be done (for now).

I'm torn on doing the roof because on one hand I love this color and so far I haven't touched it...but on the other hand, the sun-roof makes what...25%+ of the roof glossy black anyway and that clean look from front to back look really good. When I get board I will most likely paint it...in a week or two...
Appreciate that Lon. Dreaming of black P44SCs....
