Came close to buying one yesterday (iridium silver ext) but backed off when they wouldn't budge on price.

Do you think the resale value will be higher or lower having red seats?

I have the same interior color have no clue of resale value but I have loved it all the way from day one.

Red seats are always popular plus, if it's rare, I say more valuable. You're lucky to find designo interior in a dealership backyard in the US. Here, it's only on special order which add many months to a already long wait.

In my opinion, it would only work with a black exterior. I think it would de-value the car overall.

I'm not sure it will effect resale value that much either way. I personally like red interiors but if I was buying a car used I'd be deciding which car to get on a bunch of other factors that were more important than interior color.
