I'm back...

4 Attachment(s)
W218 CLS63 board... I wanted to introduce myself it's been about four years since I sold my 2004 E55 President's edition. Since then I've owned a number of cars including: RR, Cayenne Turbo, 996TT, and most recently a 360 Modena. I plan to be active on the forum and look forward to learning more about the car!

My wife and I are expecting our first child in August, so it makes sense to get a practical car. :zoom: So I picked up a 2012 CLS63 the car will be picked up next week from the East Coast and headed to Denver!!!! I am so excited to get this car I 100% confident that I made the right choice. I absolutely loved my E55, it's been one of my favorite cars that I've ever owned. Nice pick up and welcome back. Sounds like you got a great deal. How many miles are on the car? Please don't tell me it has zero miles and has been sitting at the dealer's for a year.:)

I'm sure you will enjoy the CLS63, especially coming from an E55. The steering is superior and the car feels much more planted and connected to the road.

Enjoy the new Merc and parenthood.

It's usually attached to the Cougar in the passenger seat

Congrats on the purchase and enjoy the new beast.
I hope you got a good deal on it.
I was not aware that the cf option included the steering wheel cover. Looks really nice.
Nice to know that the comfort box can be ordered in the US. thought it was only a Europe option. I will check this one on my order sheet.
Now tune this thing and you shall be amazed :)

Thanks guys... I am SUPER EXCITED!!! I loved the W219 and think the W218 is a massive improvement.

The CF on the steering wheel is a bonus, I have to believe it's aftermarket. It also has a 9500CI installed and the integrated mirror display. Both are upgrades I had planned on doing anyway.

It has approx 13K miles I feel I got a very fair deal on the car the MB dealer was very easy to deal with. Financed part of the car with MB Finance and they gave me fantastic rates. Can't be happier with the whole process.

Congrats, SANDOVAL!! I too came out of a E55 that was highly modified. I waited 11 months for my new 13 CLS63 I ordered, due to Designio and carbon fiber interior options, so be happy you were able to find the car you wanted right away!! I also have the comfort box and really love it, it is very convenient to put various items in it and not hear them bang around the trunk...Enjoy, and once again, congrats...you will LOVE the CLS63!!

Sandoval, where did your e55 wind up? I wanted to buy it back then but was too slow.

Once you get the car, do you mind sharing pictures of the front where they installed the 2 detector/diffuser and in the interior they put the controller. I have taken mine off the C63 I sold and looking for clues.
Thanks in advance.
